So, here's some of what you missed (YAWN...):
1. We were the victims of electronic crime for the very first time! Holiday charged our debit card $75 for $25 in gas. We fixed it, but FYI keep your eyes on those wiley swiper swindlers. It was an attempted "Holiday" for someone indeed.
2. The bloom is off the rose in the Garden of Children. Toe has now, 3 weeks in, realized that he'd just as soon not go to the salt mines all day every day, and that he is, in addition, somewhat too cool for school. These are some of his most recent arguments in re skipping:
I don't hafta go to kindergarten today--I already know "rhymes"!!
Top, plop, stop, hop! Bird, word, turd! See! (guess who taught Toe that last one?).
Kindergarten is closed today. Stop flakes are falling.
Mrs. Her made me sit in the "waiting chair." I just can't go to that kindergarten anymore. I'm tired of waiting.
Santa called and said to tell you it's vacation.
Okay, I'll go to kindergarten ONE MORE TIME. For you, Mommy.
3. Roo shopping became a thing.
5. We celebrated so many September birthdays that even Roo now has cake fatigue.
Also, I learned there is nothing noble or cleansing about an internet fast. And that guest bloggers are loose cannons.
Yah, I'll try to be more interesting tomorrow.
